The first half of the day will be held at the Training Center at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne. The address for the college is 1400 E College Dr., Cheyenne, WY. See the attached map to find the TC building. When traveling eastbound on College Drive, you’ll take a left and then immediate right onto Jo Reed Way, which runs parallel to College Drive. Parking lots H and I (labelled on the map) will be on your left. We will have coffee and snacks in the morning, but will not have a full breakfast provided. Classroom instruction will include details on how to read a bill, the legislative process, speaking to your legislators, how the Wyoming Game and Fish Department interacts with the legislature, and details on this session. Be sure to bring a pen or pencil and a water bottle; we will have materials to accompany some of our speakers.

After the classroom portion of the day, we will share a complimentary pizza lunch at LCCC! If you have any food allergies, please reach out to a staff member upon arrival so that we can accommodate them. After lunch, we will dismiss and meet at the Capitol for a tour, to meet your legislators, and to lobby on some of the issues coming up this session. At the end of the day, we will hold a press conference on the Capitol steps to address some of the most pressing issues of the sporting community. Bring a warm jacket for this portion of the day!

After the press conference, we’ll be free until the Sportsmen’s Legislative 6:00 p.m. at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. Join us to mingle with legislators, agency personnel, and other hunters from across the state, enjoy some wild game appetizers and a Wyoming-based bar, and to hear remarks from Governor Mark Gordon!

If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out. See you soon!
