Public lands can’t speak for themselves — but we can.
This holiday season give the gift of wildlife and wild places for today and the generations of tomorrow.
Wildlife needs us now more than ever. Our work in Cheyenne is essential. We’re committed to making sure Wyoming’s wildlife and their habitat continue to thrive and that the voices of hunters, anglers, and trappers are heard loud and clear in vital decision-making processes. Our team is pragmatically preparing to tackle new priorities based on evolving context, including:
- Working with elected officials to ensure the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation is represented in all state wildlife policy;
- Securing funding and strategies for invasive grass mitigation and fire landscape recovery across the state;
- Advocating for smarter public land management and stronger communication between state and federal agencies; and,
- Tackling large carnivore policy to prepare for delisting.
These issues take grit. Each dollar you give ensures wins for wildlife. The Federation is a strong voice at the State Legislature — one that stands firm for our wildlife, public lands, and outdoor traditions.
Your generosity enables us to be at the legislature full-time (for the 8th consecutive year), to push forward these goals, and to secure more wins for conservation and future generations.
Thank you, again, for standing with us - together our wild places and wild things will continue into perpetuity.
