Living books
Time: 30-60 minutes
Materials: book, sidewalk chalk (optional)
Activity: Read a book or fable with a fairly simple plot. Define 3-5 3-foot squares outside. In each square, use sidewalk chalk or found materials to depict important scenes from the story, working from beginning to end. Discuss settings, characters, and plot or actions that you could show with your “page”.
