When they’re dead and gone: A Film

Many of you know Jess Johnson, our Government Affairs Director. Her passion for hunting and wildlife conservation is contagious — she's brought more hunters to the state capitol to learn how to advocate on behalf of sportspeople and wildlife than anyone else we know.

Outside of her work at WWF, Jess is being featured in and collaborating on an independent documentary film following her work in rural politics, conservation, and passion for backcountry hunting. The film is directed by @joevaneeckhout and is in the home stretch of coming together.

The film @whentheyredeadandgonefilm, along with @shejumps (organization working to increase the participation of girls and women in the outdoors), are partnering with Pushroot Brewing Co. They'll be serving up their new Hazy IPA and donating 50 cents of every purchase to both @whentheyredeadandgonefilm and @shejumps. They will be hosting a special raffle event and screening later this summer in June. Stay tuned for updates!

In the meantime; check out the film's website here or you can donate directly to making the film come to life here!
