The Wyoming Wildlife Federation is pleased to welcome Luke Cox as our new Communications & Events Coordinator.
In this role, Luke will support WWF's mission through storytelling, public outreach, event coordination, and member engagement. His work will focus on strengthening connections between sportsmen and women, conservation partners, public land advocates, and the broader Wyoming community.
Luke brings a background in communications, brand development, and grassroots community building, along with a lifelong passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Originally from Virginia, Luke developed his connection to the outdoors through time spent hunting, fishing, and exploring the Appalachian Mountains. Following his service as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, he made Wyoming home, where he and his family continue to enjoy the state's public lands, wildlife, and outdoor opportunities.
"As someone who cares deeply about hunting, wildlife conservation, and public access, I'm honored to join the Wyoming Wildlife Federation," said Cox. "WWF has a long history of bringing people together to support wildlife and the outdoor traditions that make Wyoming unique. I'm excited to help tell those stories and strengthen connections with our members, partners, and supporters across the state."
As Communications & Events Coordinator, Luke will help expand WWF's outreach efforts, support conservation campaigns, coordinate events, and share the stories of the people working every day to protect Wyoming's wildlife and wild places.
"Conservation succeeds when people are connected to the landscapes, wildlife, and traditions they're working to protect," Cox said. "I look forward to helping showcase the incredible work being done by WWF members, volunteers, partners, and supporters throughout Wyoming."
Luke's addition comes at an exciting time for the organization as WWF continues its work advancing wildlife conservation, protecting public access, promoting responsible stewardship, and ensuring future generations can enjoy Wyoming's hunting, fishing, and outdoor traditions.
