Book Review: Preparing Fish and Wild Game Editors of Creative Press
This is the one stop shop, keep in your kitchen or truck wild game cook book. With chapters on field dressing, filleting and even preparing racoon. It is also an incredible recipe book. After I read through it, I was inspired to go out and harvest new species of small game and fish. If you do not hunt or if you have hunted your entire life this is a great book. It is filled with ideas on how best to preserve game. Everything from smoking, canning and jerking is covered, from squirrel to elk. We would prefer you buy it from a local book store but, if you buy it from Amazon, use Amazon Smile and put Wyoming Wildlife Federation down as you preferred donation. Not only will you have a great resource, but also be giving back to conservation.
