Nature collages
Time: 15-20 minutes/visit
Materials: scissors, glue, paper, old magazines (optional)
Activity: Collect a variety of natural materials (e.g. sticks, leaves, flowers, small rocks, sand or dust). Come up with a theme or let kids freely associate and glue the objects onto paper to create a design. Dust or sand can be sprinkled over a glue line like glitter to create a shape. Optional: include cuttings from old magazines in the collages.
