Size Comparisons
Time: 10-15 minutes
Materials: None
Activity: While outside, look for opportunities to compare and contrast different objects such as trees, buildings, rocks, leaves, etc. Comparison words to explore: big/small, tall/short, wide/narrow, light/heavy, thick/thin, full/empty. If you can move the objects, you can line them up from biggest to smallest or sort them into big/small groups.
